A transformation of a disused nightclub in the centre of Leeds saw the re-introduction of The Griffin to the city centre. A property with a rich history and the original birth place of Leeds United Football Club has been brought to life with a mixture of modern and more traditional finishes. Our project at The Griffin consisted of removing the existing finishes and forming a complete new shell to allow the fit out works to commence. These works consisted of services upgrades and alterations, bar and backfitting alterations along with a complete internal and external re-decoration scheme. Traditional tiled and timber floor finishes where introduced along with new light fittings, deep buttoned fixed seating and refresh of existing features. The scheme also consisted of back of house upgrades to include re-decoration and flooring works to form new offices and refresh the existing kitchen area. The scheme has since been nominated for the 2014/2015 national restaurant and bar design awards. The Griffin represented the biggest single investment for the Spirit Group during 2014 and strengthened our relationship with our long term client, The Spirit Group.
